Let me introduce myself. My name is Diane and to the Community House I am the WART they can’t get rid of.

My involvement has covered many spectrum’s over more than twenty years. From receptionist to committee members, chocolate lady to theatre organiser. Gardening, bringing people together which includes the institutional, long term oldies, monthly luncheon get together. What would you say? All time dogs body. (Hope you understand my slang). Anything that needs doing.

The house became my home after I took a package from my finance job and realised I did not know my neighbourhood. This and the Knox Op Shop were my integration and my introduction to a totally different side to life and people. I have met many beautiful people and made many new friends. In doing this I have discovered my true heart and soul.
